Veronica Osorio (hi, that's me!) was born in Jacksonville, FL. Raised in Venezuela and left an improv, circus, musical theater and film career in Venezuela to learn how to improvise in English and, eventually, become part of UCB Theater NYC. She moved to NYC in a cold October of 2008 and became a member of a UCB sketch house team in April 2009, she's been part of the theater since.
She's currently hosting the show The XX Factor, an all female sketch showcase at UCB Sunset and is part of UCB LA sketch team Eastwood and Digital team Sancho. She's a channel partner with Mas Mejor (the Horatio Sanz/Broadway Video channel) and is part of the NBC/UCB show on SeeSo.
She moved to LA in January 2015 after finishing her first full length film (in this country) the Coen Brother's film Hail, Caesar! (Hi! I can't even) and after getting a talent hold deal with Fox and 20th Century Fox (until June 2015). She was also part of ABC's Diversity showcase 2014 :) thanks to the wonderful Marci Phillips! Veronica is shooting another cool project soon and can't wait to share it, man she wants to share it... but we can talk about Drake meanwhile.
At UCB NYC (and now UCB LA) she has hosted and perform in too many shows to name in a short bio, some highlights? Her one woman shows First Woman On The Moon and Corn Teeth, Leila Cohan-Miccio & Caitlin Bitzegaio's show This Is About Smith, Her sketch team Fambly's show entirely based on the song Brand New Day and the NBC Diversity Scholarship Finalist show, tho her favorite shows are midnight half-empty (half-full?) shows where she tries out weird characters and fucks around.
Her notable TV/Internet/commercial work includes: Comedy Bang! Bang!, Friends Of The People, Adam Ruins Everything, Funny Or Die Crashes The Republican Debate. The viral videos: Aubrey Plaza As Dora The Explorer and Manic Pixie Prostitute (featured in a bunch of cool big dog blogs) and commercials for Vonage, Kaiser Permanente, Amex (with Tina Fey) and McDonald's. She's appeared on MTV and MTV3 and MORE!
ASK ME ABOUT MORE or let's just hang and talk Star Trek TNG.
